Simple Weight Loss Tips!

Most people think loosing weight is really difficult, and that it would take years and years to do. It's all about determination and a positive attitude. Giving your self a goal is really important especially if you are going away and you want to get a nice bikini body. When you set your mind to something, you will accomplish it! I always try and watch what I eat, and have always done a lot of fitness/exercise because of my tennis. Ever since I was little, my parents have always fed me big portions of food. Recently I have cut down the amount on every meal I have, and my sweet intake.
I have been hearing a lot from people and been noticing on my own body, that if you eat for example one big meal and nothing else you will gain weight. Even if you think because you haven't eaten that much compared to what you usually eat, it's worse. Eating 3 meals smaller then you usually have, and healthy (always make sure you know the calorie amount if you can) is really crucial!

Now let's get straight into the 'Simple Weight Loss Tips!'

Don't Compare yourself to Others

Comparing yourself to others can really lower your confidence and aim, to what you want to accomplish with your body. Looking at bodies that have been edited and airbrushed, is not what you aim should be. Focus on being the best you can be and not on some 'fake figure'.

Be proud to what you can accomplish with your health and fitness, and be driven by that not a 'supermodel'.

Learning from your mistakes

Obviously learning is a way of life, no one is going to get everything right. You will have bad days and good days and the only way to overcome it is to rise above them. If you eat too much chocolate or don't do your fitness program that day, forget about it and move on.
But if you do have a set back don't keep on making the same/similar mistake. Tell your self that your better then that and remind yourself the goal you have set.

A bit of stress every now and again is normal, but living with continual stress can have a major
impact on your health, wellbeing and weight. Stress can really effect people, even when you don't realise! Most people that are effected by stress don't realise that's whats causing it. Doing Yoga or some sort of relaxation for yourself can really help.
Whether it's taking a real holiday, learning time-management skills or working to resolve the underlying issues in your relationship that lead to friction, find what works for you.

Nutrition and Fitness

You must understand the basics of these two things, people will think its obviouse but most don't know. You might be working through a diet plan or do daily fitness routines, but do you really know what they are actually doing to your body? and are they helping you in the right way and places?

These next couple of tips really have helped me!

Have Fun!

If your not having fun with your fitness, you are going to loose interest fast! If the idea of being on a cycling machine doesn't excite you, then don't do it.
Find an activity that you enjoy, experiment and if you do that you will be more motivated to do it!

Drink enough Water!

Before people start thinking, 'why are you telling me this?', allow me to elaborate. "If you feel more hungry, drink more first and then wait it out. After 10 minutes you will know if your hungry." Really think about that quote because it really means a lot! When people attempt to loose weight they think they are hungry when they're not. Your actually hungry for thirst!
If you just ate a meal and are still hungry, you could just be dehydrated. Always drink plenty off water, having a drink in the morning when you wake up is really healthy for you!

Pile on the Greens

This tip is regardless to what your fitness goal is. Adding vegetables to most meals brings fibrevitaminsantioxidants, and minerals to your diet, and will help keep you full for a longer period of time. Don't think that adding vegetables, means that your done. You need to make sure that you are always eating a balanced diet! If you want that lean, toned, or ripped appearance, you have to stay dedicated to both your training and your meal program.

Lift Weights

A lot woman say about them not wanting to have big muscles and just want to tone. Cardio without weight training will leave you "skinny fat."
Resistance training increases your metabolism by building lean muscle. The more muscles you have, the more calories you burn. So seriously, don't think that doing weights is going to always make you look really muscly!

Okay, so this might sound a bit odd but studies has shown that people who maintain food diaries wind up eating 15% less food that those who don't. If you write down every single little thing that you put in your mouth, it can really help you eat less!

Tune in, Tone up

Try dancing to the music when you tune into your favorite music show, or practice some stress-relieving cardio boxing when your least favorite reality contestant is on camera.
During commercials pedal your stationery bike, walk the treadmill, or slip in a little strength training doing bicep curls with cans of your favorite fizzy beverage as weights. Or get inspired to really focus: Put in a high-energy exercise DVD and get motivated by the pros onscreen.
It doesn't matter exactly what you do, so long as you're up and active.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this! and see you on my next post! :D
